On the hunt for as many vintage floral side plates as possible..
So we decided to move the wedding forward. It was in 2014, but now it's in December. We were going to do a really big event, ceremony in an art deco cinema and the reception in a fancy hotel. Then it got stressful and extremely expensive.
We've cut it right back, brought it forward (the only reason it was put off for so long was so we can save up to afford the big one) and now we are having a picnic ceremony and a back yard reception.
I'm collecting floral plates from op shops, about to start making bunting and getting ready to acquire hundreds of metres of fairy lights.
I've also added to the cookbook collection - I think all weddings should come with cookies, and The Food Truck is such a great local show that I had to get the book too.
